The founding of the Krosglass company is closely related to the history of Krosno Glassworks. The establishment of the first glasswork plant dates back to 1923. Successive plants have been constructed since 1950s and further developed into a glassworks' industrial unit. The last constituent, Glass Fibre Plant, was founded in November 1971. The production of glass fibre in Krosno had started based on TBA Bishop's license, an English company, the then leading producer of construction glass fibre.
